Privacy Policy

The short version. I run no advertising scripts, sell nothing, and add no one to a list they did not ask for. The only personal information I get is what you deliberately type into a form or a booking page, which I use to reply to you. I also use Google Analytics to see which pages help visitors, but only if you accept it in the cookie banner. You can decline, and change your choice at any time.

Who is responsible

ProcessAnimation.com is an independent process consulting practice operated by a sole practitioner, and is the data controller for information collected through this site. Submissions are not routed to a wider team. For any question about this policy, or to request access to or deletion of your information, use the contact form or call (681) 214-0482.

What I collect, and when

When you send me a message

The contact form asks for your name and work email, and optionally your company and what you are interested in, plus whatever you write in the message box. I need these to understand your situation and reply to you. The form is delivered to my inbox by a service called Web3Forms, which passes the message along and does not use it for anything else.

When you take the Process Health Check

Your answers and your score are calculated in your own browser. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to enter your name and email to request the written action plan. If you do, those details and your score are emailed to me, again through Web3Forms, so I can send you something useful. If you just want your score and nothing else, close the page and I never see it.

When you book a call

Booking runs on Calendly, which is a separate company with its own privacy policy. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email, and the details you enter, and shares them with me so I know who I am meeting. Anything you do on the Calendly page is governed by their terms, not mine.

When you just visit

My web host keeps standard server logs, which typically include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These exist for security and troubleshooting, are generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure, and I do not use them to build any profile of you.

Cookies and analytics

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you will allow analytics. Nothing is set until you choose.

If you accept, I load Google Analytics 4, which places first-party cookies (named _ga and similar) in your browser and sends Google usage data such as the pages you view, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. I use this only to understand which pages are useful and how people move through the site. Google processes it as described in its privacy policy. I do not use it for advertising and I do not link it to the messages you send me.

If you decline, no analytics loads and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, which is not a cookie, so you are not asked again. You can change your mind at any time: manage your cookie choices. Apart from analytics, this site sets no advertising pixels and no cross-site trackers.

Who else touches your information

Four services are involved in running this site, and only these four:

  • Web3Forms delivers the contact form and health check submissions to my inbox.
  • Calendly handles call scheduling if you choose to book.
  • Hostinger hosts the website and generates the server logs described above.
  • Google Analytics measures site usage, but only after you accept it in the cookie banner.

Nobody else receives your information. I do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or lead-resale services of any kind.

How long I keep it

I keep inquiries for as long as there is a live reason to, which usually means an ongoing conversation, an active engagement, or records I am required to retain for tax and accounting purposes. When there is no longer a reason to hold it, it is deleted. To request earlier deletion, use the contact details below.

What I will never do

I will not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. I will not add you to a newsletter because you filled in a contact form. I will not use what you tell me about your business as a named example without asking you first.

Your rights

You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Submit the request through the contact form and it will be handled, normally within a few days. Depending on where you live, you may have formal rights under laws such as the GDPR in the UK and Europe, or the CCPA in California, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. These requests are honored regardless of your location.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If what I collect changes, I will update this page and change the date at the top. Since the site currently collects so little, I do not expect this to change often.

Questions

For any question about this policy or how your information is handled, use the contact form or call (681) 214-0482. Inquiries are normally answered within one business day.
